Job Summary:

Citibank, N.A. Singapore is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Service Delivery Senior Vice President to lead the APAC region's data center service delivery and operational assurance efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with APAC country heads and line of business leadership to prioritize data center capacity requirements and forecast demand for projects with multi-year lead times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure availability of APAC region data center capacity to meet business demand, prioritize fulfillment, and reclaim data center capacity with APAC business leads and data center operations.
  • Collaborate with APAC country heads and line of business leadership to prioritize data center capacity requirements and forecast demand for projects with multi-year lead times.
  • Lead data center planning and regional forecasting initiatives to achieve business goals by prioritizing and implementing data center technology initiatives.
  • Direct interaction with senior APAC business leaders and client representatives to ensure business alignment.
  • Engage, oversee, and track all Third-Party service review meetings highlighting areas of improvement, controls in place, and future planned changes.
  • Provide and detail Technology Environments to both Internal and External Auditors, including regulatory engagement to meet requirements and provide information to demonstrate Citibank's data center environmental status, plans, and robust controls.
  • Establish meaningful metrics and management reports for the regions data centers, as well as global alignment with peer regions.
  • Collaborate with Real Estate Services and Citigroup Security and Investigative Services leadership to coordinate end-to-end data center and facilities management audit preparation, including process documentation of self-identified issues, evidence collection, facility inspections, findings response, and post-audit action plans.
  • Develop strategies to meet business strategy goals and demonstrate in-depth understanding of how Technology Infrastructure integrates within the overall technology function to achieve objectives.
  • Resolve issues that have impact beyond own area and apply in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas.
  • Provide services by using insights from stakeholder/partner relationships, actively seeking information to understand issues, expectations, and needs.
  • Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards and recommend reengineering efforts for continuous improvement.
  • Persuade and influence others through communication and diplomacy skills and negotiate with external parties as needed.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citibank, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a data center technology infrastructure leadership role with experience in people and project management and selected infrastructure technologies.
  • Applied subject matter expertise in data center strategic planning, DC capacity management, DC lifecycle management, power assurance, colocation management, Data Center mechanical and electrical plant maintenance and upkeep.
  • Experience in financial services or large complex and/or global environment preferred.
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication with ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Proven ability to develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities, and identification of best practices.
  • Proven analytical, diagnostic, and prioritizing skills with focus on execution and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to both work independently and partner with virtual teams in a high-pressure matrix environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of various parts of a project/initiative with tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectation/requirements.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree preferred.
