Lead Retail Strategist

This role will be responsible for overseeing and leading all commercial aspects of the business, including strategy, sales, marketing, business development, customer relations, key commercial projects, and maintaining excellence.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the overall commercial strategy to ensure alignment with company goals and vision.
  • Lead and oversee sales teams to achieve business targets, including new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities and channels to grow the business via expansion, partnerships or other opportunities.
  • Lead and oversee key commercial projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Track and report on project progress, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and meeting desired business outcomes.

Main requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Optics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a commercial role within the optical and/or retail industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, develop talent, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex commercial projects with cross-functional teams, delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong strategic and business development mindset with a track record of delivering growth and profitability.
