Key Account Manager

A critical role for professionals who can build strategic relationships with clients and drive commercial growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities within assigned territories and developing tailored solutions to meet the needs of existing and prospective clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of client business needs to deliver value-added data packages supporting commercial decisions.
  • Identify growth opportunities within assigned territories from existing customers.
  • Generate named account business by prospecting and pursuing qualified leads within strategic clients.
  • Coordinate resources internally to maximize value for clients and ensure clear renewal and relationship growth.
  • Maintain and develop long-term relationships with existing customers to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Act as trusted advisors to clients, ensuring they maximize their relationship with Argus and engage in feedback mechanisms.
  • Manage administration of accounts through excellent understanding and use of CRM system and related technology.

Requirements:

  • Independent, self-motivated, and disciplined in following sales cycles.
  • Educated to degree level or above.
  • Experience in frontline information or B2B sales.
  • Self-motivated, confident, and results-driven.
  • Strong professional communicator, liaising with international leaders effectively.
  • Experience in domestic commodities industry's price data subscription sales environment is an advantage.
