Key Responsibilities of a Pricing Specialist

The primary objective of the Pricing Specialist role is to analyze market trends, product development, promotions, customer profiling, and competitor movements in order to optimize vehicle price setting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market data and competitor pricing to identify opportunities for optimization
  • Develop business proposals for new vehicle pricing and negotiate with stakeholders and management for approval
  • Manage monthly pricing operations, including system price administration and price notice issuance
  • Update profit calculation sheets with various cost factors to monitor profitability and plan for improvement measures
  • Manage ad-hoc requests and issues from internal teams, head office, regional offices, and distributor counterparts
  • Support materials preparation for top management reporting when required
  • Collaborate with distributors on mid-term product planning (up to 5 years), involving product strategy, target market, target volume, etc

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum diploma holders with 2-3 years of experience or no experience
  • Able to travel overseas and work overtime when required

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
