The Senior Manager position in Student Support offers a unique opportunity to drive program effectiveness and enhance student outcomes.

The ideal candidate will analyze data, transform raw data into actionable insights, and shape strategies for student engagement, retention, and success.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the administration of the RP's Mentoring Framework, working with academic schools on coordination and support for students, and transiting them to internships and industry mentoring opportunities when they graduate.

Additionally, the role involves consolidating and analyzing student datasets, providing stakeholders with insightful analytics, identifying students who may require intervention support, and informing policy decisions.

Technical skills required include proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with large data sets, and programming skills such as Power BI, Power Query, and R.

The successful candidate must be organized, meticulous, results-focused, proactive, and resourceful, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

They should also have experience with predictive analytics, IT savvy, and ability to work independently and in a team, multi-task, and work effectively under pressure during peak periods.

The Senior Manager will play a critical role in shaping the future of RP's student support services, driving innovation, and excellence in education.

The job is full-time and requires relevant academic qualifications with at least 8 years of work experience, preferably in the area of student support and/or education research.

This is a senior-level position that demands leadership, strategic thinking, and exceptional interpersonal skills.

The role includes leading the team overseeing the RP internship program and Internship Placement System, ensuring alignment with institution policies and academic goals, evaluating and analyzing program effectiveness, monitoring quality, and preparing reports highlighting key insights and areas for improvement.

The person will engage employers to seek quality Short-Term Work Attachment opportunities for students, and oversee the administration of all mentoring functions in RP, including scheduling engagement sessions, resourcing mentors, and planning mentor training programs.

They will also work with various stakeholders to gather feedback for the annual review of the RP Mentoring Framework, coordinate the administration of the RP Outstanding Mentor Award, and engage with community organizations to source mentoring programs and opportunities.
