Cloud Server Specialist
This role involves managing and supporting cloud-based server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance. Responsibilities include implementing, configuring, and monitoring Linux servers and associated cloud resources, as well as automating repetitive tasks using scripting languages and Infrastructure as Code tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration
- Strong experience working in AWS cloud environment with hands-on knowledge of core AWS services
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex Linux system issues
- Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
- Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, or Perl
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancers, VPN, Firewalls)
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., CIS benchmarks, PCI-DSS)
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a team environment, and experience supporting production environments with high availability requirements.
OthersAdditional responsibilities may include participating in on-call rotations, providing support for critical production issues, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders for escalations and complex issues.
