Job Overview

This role is a senior leadership position that oversees the execution of banking transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and internal governance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead functional analysis and solution design for core banking systems to ensure efficient operations.
  • Develop, review, refine, and present proposals that meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Coordinate with vendors, technical teams, and stakeholders to drive timely delivery and alignment.
  • Oversee system enhancements, integrations, and migrations to minimize disruptions.
  • Manage requirement gathering, gap analysis, and documentation to ensure comprehensive understanding.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal governance policies.
  • Support SIT/UAT cycles and post-go-live stabilization to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Foster leadership and mentorship among junior functional analysts to enhance team capabilities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams and external partners.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, or related field.
  • 5–12 years of experience in core banking transformation or functional consulting, with strong knowledge of platforms like Temenos, Finacle, CGI, or Flexcube.
  • Proven experience in vendor management, project execution, and bank coordination, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience leading multi-country or regional banking projects.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk management principles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
