About the Job

We are looking for experienced translators to join our localization team. As a Localization Specialist, you will be responsible for localizing software and related content into Thai.

  • Fluency and translation experience in Thai are crucial.
  • You will be working in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to handle workload with daring delivery schedules.
Responsibilities

In addition to project work, other responsibilities include contributing to improving the tools to make software localization workflows more efficient; helping to investigate the root causes of international issues that are found in localized software; evangelizing standard processes for localization friendly content; defining and driving improvements in our localized content.

You will be interacting with other localization teams at Apple, as well as engineering and QA teams, and gain valuable insights into the development process.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Degree in Applied Linguistics, Translation, Culture & Literature and equivalent
  • Native or accredited fluency in Thai to support the Thai-speaking market
  • Fluent in English to do the translation from English to Thai and vice versa
  • Experience with CAT tools and in translation of UI for high-end software products
