Component Repair Specialist

Job Description:

To ensure the efficient repair of components, you will be responsible for operating chemical stripping and plating processes and machines across all shop floors. This involves conducting daily inspections, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate chemical cleaning, stripping, or plating machines
  • Ensure production cycles data are accurately documented in log books
  • Conduct laboratory analysis on chemicals to maintain specification levels
  • Assist with periodic tank cleaning and chemical replenishment
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and housekeeping tasks
  • Understand High Risk Operations and participate in Chemical Spill Response teams

Requirements:

Applicants should possess a minimum GCE 'O' level certificate with 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environments. Preference is given to candidates with NITEC/Higher NITEC qualifications in Chemical Process Technology or equivalent, as well as those with diplomas in Chemical Engineering or similar fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with at least 2 years of relevant working experience, particularly in chemical or plating environments, are preferred. Familiarity with laboratory analysis equipment such as titration, X-Ray, and pH control systems is also advantageous.
