Component Repair Specialist

About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or a related field, with prior experience in aircraft engine component repair operations an advantage. Strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills are essential for this position.
You will be responsible for allocating resources, maximizing production outputs, and spearheading Continuous Improvement projects to reduce costs and drive productivity. Additionally, you will interface with customers, coordinate with various functions, and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.

Responsibilities- Manage component repair operations and lead a team of service engineers and technicians
- Drive operational excellence to meet targets, productivity, labor utilization, quality, and safety compliance
- Allocate resources to maximize production outputs and spearhead Continuous Improvement projects
- Interface with customers and coordinate with various functions to provide MRO support
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations laid down by airworthiness authorities and engine OEMs
- Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or a related field
- Prior experience in aircraft engine component repair operations an advantage
- Proven leadership track record with strong ability to drive and deliver results
- Highly motivated and self-directed with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good team player with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Process and detail-oriented, including strong interpersonal and analytical skills
