Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Component Repair Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will perform NDT and related duties in accordance with approved documents and calibration standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform specific calibrations, NDT, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection of parts
- Correctly interpret and understand inspection operation sheets and work instructions
- Organize, sort, and prepare parts for NDT inspection
- Load, unload, and operate XR, UT, or automated FPI lines
- Perform X-Ray Inspection, Ultrasonic Inspection, Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection, Eddy Current Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection in accordance with inspection operation sheets
- Ensure equipment operation readiness
- Assist the Engineer with inspection evaluations and reporting
- Upkeep process systems and testing equipment to ensure continuous operations per approved documents
- Prepare and clean parts before and/or after inspection
- Conduct audits in NDT area to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Perform scheduled maintenance and housekeeping tasks
Requirements:
- Prior experience in NDT
- Minimum GCE 'O' level and/or 5 years' experience in Quality Inspection; or Minimum GCE 'O' level and/or 2 years' of NDT experience; or Diploma holders in Aircraft Maintenance/Aerospace Engineering; or Preferably CAAS Approval in NDT certification
- Able to read and understand manufacturing operation sheets and SOPs in English
