Logistics Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Job Description:- Provide sales support to the Business Development Manager by coordinating daily shipping activities, sourcing rates with airlines and overseas agents, and handling billing advice, recoveries, and circulation of forms.
- Work closely with new prospects and customers on airfreight, seafreight, road freight trucking, and 3rd party freight inquiries.
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily shipping activities, including preparation of reports, filing, and circulation of documents.
- Liaise with various internal departments, such as operations and finance, to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Advise billing instructions for shipments and ensure professional sales services are provided to customers.
- Maintain contact with airlines, trade bodies, industry associations, and government agencies to stay up-to-date on industry developments.
- Undertake new projects and assignments as required.
- Represent the Sales department in various taskforces and committees.
- At least 1 year of experience in logistics.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
