About the Role
We seek a dynamic Wine Sales and Events Strategy Manager to join our team at Deliciae Hospitality Management PTE. LTD. This role involves developing and implementing effective sales strategies to promote our wine portfolio to individual and corporate clients. Building strong relationships with customers, distributors, and partners is crucial for driving sales growth. The successful candidate will conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape within the Singapore wine industry. They must achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive outreach and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
**Sales Management:**
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote our wine portfolio to individual and corporate clients. Ensure the strategies align with market trends and customer preferences.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and partners to drive sales growth. Foster trust and credibility through open communication and regular follow-ups. Maintain up-to-date records of client interactions, sales performance, and market intelligence.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape within the Singapore wine industry. Utilize this information to refine sales strategies and improve sales performance.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive outreach and customer engagement. Regularly analyze sales data to understand customer needs and preferences, informing future sales strategies.
**Event Planning and Operations:**
- Plan, organize, and execute wine tasting events, corporate functions, and private parties. Ensure seamless experiences for all attendees by coordinating logistics, selecting venues, catering, staffing, and overseeing operations. Manage event budgets effectively to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality. Provide tailored event solutions that highlight our wine selection based on client needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide personalized event recommendations. Work closely with internal teams to coordinate logistics and ensure timely execution of events. Prepare detailed event reports highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and recommendations for future events.
**Wine Knowledge and Promotion:**
- Stay informed about wine trends, regions, and varietals to educate clients and guests during events and sales interactions. Conduct wine tastings and presentations to enhance clients' understanding and appreciation of our products. Develop marketing materials and promotions to support wine sales initiatives and events. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging content and promotional campaigns. Continuously update product knowledge to stay ahead of market trends and competitor offerings.
**Reporting and Analysis:**
- Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for management. Analyze sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth. Present findings and recommendations to inform business decisions and drive strategic growth. Utilize insights from sales and event performance to refine sales strategies and optimize resource allocation.
**Qualifications and Requirements:**
* A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in wine sales, event planning, or a combination of both. Proven track record of success in driving sales growth, managing events, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software is required.
