Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Manager to join our team at the Singapore Business Federation. As a key member of our Human Resources & Transformation Division, you will play a critical role in ensuring all training and development activities are strategically linked to our SBF25 goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and operationalize organization-wide learning strategies, roadmaps, programs, and initiatives to build new capabilities and skills to support SBF25.
  • Engage Heads of Departments as a learning partner to understand strategic capability needs, design, and drive professional skills learning plans to build capability and upskill different segments of staff.
  • Ensure effective training is in place to enable the achievement of desired business results.
  • Assist in designing, developing, operationalizing, and reviewing the SBF competency framework to support the achievement of SBF25.
  • Review and update learning & development policies and processes to ensure alignment with current market practices and organizational needs.
  • Manage and deliver the value immersion program in staff orientation and work closely with the recruitment function to co-develop a staff orientation program suitable for SBF25, actively supporting the learning needs of new joiners to minimize attrition.
  • Accountable for maximizing and managing learning resources and budget.
  • Support reporting, such as learning updates and learning effectiveness reports to management.
  • Handle learning administration and operations when required.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of L&D experience.
  • Track record in developing organization-wide competency frameworks is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in developing learning & development policies and processes is preferred.
  • Good facilitation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives with tight timelines in complex environments.
  • Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to express complex issues simply and logically.
  • Good qualitative, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
