Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Engineer to join our team at NCS Group. As a Desktop Engineer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch desktop support services to our users, ensuring their systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide desktop support services to users, including receiving, prioritizing, and resolving help requests and escalating incidents when necessary.
  • Perform imaging and re-imaging of desktop systems.
  • Conduct asset inventories and perform technical escalations to 3rd party vendors or resolver groups when necessary.
  • Update incident records and create work instructions as needed.
  • Document standards and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.

Requirements:

  • Min. ITE/Diploma graduate with 1 year experience in desktop support.
  • Min 1 year experience in Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office.
  • Clear Spoken & Written English.
  • Possess at least one of the following certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Client, or Microsoft Certified: Managing Modern Desktops.
  • Previous IT helpdesk and/or call centre support experience, including remote support via telephone or using remote tools, is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in the support of workstations and related components.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good coordination skills.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Effectively communicates with teammates and managers.
