Marine Equipment Service Technician Role

As a Marine Equipment Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment used in the marine sector.

  • Inspect and diagnose issues with equipment to determine the root cause of problems.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating moving parts, to prevent equipment failure.
  • Replace faulty parts and components as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work.
Requirements:
  • Nitec or Higher Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience as a service technician in the industrial equipment or marine sector.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Will to work in a marine environment.
