About the Role

This is a key position within the CREDIT AGRICOLE CORPORATE AND INVESTMENT BANK HR team, reporting directly to the Head of HR. As a seasoned HR professional, you will have extensive end-to-end experience, preferably in the Financial Services industry.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality HR advisory services to stakeholders, providing seamless support to the business as required, and driving the implementation of HR practices and initiatives. Key tasks include:
  • Partnering with stakeholders to deliver professional HR advisories and drive HR support to the business.
  • Providing strategic advice to the business on talent development matters, including identifying and grooming hi-potential talent, talent succession, performance management, and coaching managers through performance management conversations.
  • Identifying gaps in existing processes proactively and driving continuous improvements to HR processes.
  • Consulting and advising management in the business planning process and providing input on organizational capability and the HR implications of business objectives to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Managing HR operational responsibilities, including developing HR policies in line with local regulations, enforcing procedures, managing processes and systems, and ensuring compliance in day-to-day handling of HR matters.
  • Managing the entire employee lifecycle, including on/off-boarding briefing, compensation and benefits, employee relations, exit management, etc.
  • Managing employee relations and providing solutions to enhance staff engagement and company culture.
  • Responsible for any other duties assigned.

Compliance and Legal Responsibilities

The successful candidate must comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and internal Compliance requirements, including the Singapore Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud, including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer. They must also maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure they are fully qualified to undertake the role, complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
  • At least 12 years of HR Generalist/Business Partnering of HR Advisory experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and deliver within tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of local employment law and compliance requirements.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills, confidence, and maturity to interact effectively with stakeholders and all levels of staff.
  • Expertise in HR operations, policy development, HR communication.
  • Willingness to collaborate, go the extra mile, and demonstrate a high level of integrity with the ability to handle highly confidential information appropriately.
  • High motivation and resourcefulness.
  • Prior experience in supporting the Financial Services firm would be highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
