
Culinary Operations Manager

- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wok Department Manager to oversee the daily operations of our wok department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traditional Cantonese/Teochew cuisine and be able to maintain the highest quality standards.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the wok department, including menu planning, inventory management, staff supervision, and kitchen maintenance.
In addition to their technical skills, the Wok Department Manager must possess excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of cooks to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the day-to-day activities of the wok department, including menu planning, ingredient ordering, and inventory control.
- Supervise and train staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Maintain high-quality standards in all areas of the kitchen, including food preparation, presentation, and cleanliness.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and efficient use of resources.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in traditional Cantonese/Teochew cuisine and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
