Job Description:

SUSS Student Life is responsible for creating an enabling culture that empowers students to maximise their personal potential. This includes supporting students to strengthen their well-being and helping them develop their unique potential to contribute actively to the organisation and wider community.

The role of Student Onboarding programmes involves designing, developing, and delivering programmes for SUSS students, including international and postgraduate students. Additionally, this role requires managing campus safety initiatives, coaching and mentoring students in various student life programmes, reviewing and evaluating the effectiveness of student life programmes, and developing strategic partnerships with external organisations and alumni.

This position also involves working across various offices within the Student SUcceSS Centre to support different functions and events as necessary. Furthermore, the role requires managing administrative duties related to student life programmes, including pre- and post-event publicity, data management, finance, and attending training and development courses relevant to work and professional development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree holder with at least 5 years of professional experience
  • Experience in student development and people development will be useful
  • Team player, with strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Able to work independently with a strong eye for detail
  • Strong coordination, administrative, and organisational skills
  • Intellectually inquisitive; with a good awareness of current and global affairs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be able to travel to regional countries at least once every quarter, if required
