Business Development Leader

AerFin is looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Leader to lead our efforts in generating new opportunities with existing and prospective customers.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of business development within the aviation sector, with a strong focus on airframe components and used serviceable materials. They will also have excellent customer relationship management skills and be proficient in conducting comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities.

This role requires a deep understanding of the aviation sector, including airframe components, engine leasing, MRO services, and asset acquisitions. The ideal candidate will be able to generate revenue through strategic marketing, effective negotiation, and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and leverage customer insights to create value propositions tailored to the Asia Pacific market.
  • Partner with internal teams to build key external relationships and accelerate company growth.
  • Support asset acquisition opportunities and establish and maintain strong customer relationships across all levels.
  • Monitor and manage Key Account KPIs, ensuring alignment with strategic targets and customer expectations.
Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience in an airline, OEM, or MRO sales environment.
  • Proven experience in business development within the aviation sector, with a strong focus on airframe components and used serviceable materials.
  • In-depth understanding of the aviation sector, particularly airframe components, engine leasing, MRO services, and asset acquisitions.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate revenue through strategic marketing, effective negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Proficient in conducting comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Established relationship with key Asia Pacific airline customers, and knowledge of Airbus and Boeing airframe components would be desirable.
