Room Attendant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our team at The Singapore Resort Spa. This is an excellent opportunity to take your housekeeping skills to the next level and provide exceptional service to our guests.

As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. You will also restock guest supplies and amenities, maintain a clean and organized floor pantry area, and report any defects or issues found in guest rooms or hotel premises to management.

To succeed in this role, you should have strong cleaning and sanitizing techniques, Microsoft Office proficiency, and basic knowledge of social media platforms. You should also possess public speaking and presentation skills, as well as event planning and coordination experience. Customer service and relations skills are essential in this role, as you will be interacting with guests on a daily basis.

Required Skills:
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing Techniques: Ability to follow a standard operating procedure (SOP) for cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms, including the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Word to manage inventory, track guest preferences, and create reports.
  • Social Media Knowledge: Basic knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, to stay up-to-date on company news and promotions.
  • Public Speaking and Presentation Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with guests, colleagues, and management, using clear and concise language.
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Experience in planning and coordinating events, such as room layouts, catering, and decorations.
  • Customer Service and Relations: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve guest complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
