Senior Leadership Role in Education

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Development: Develop and execute strategic plans to expand student recruitment across Southeast Asia for postgraduate and executive education programmes.
  • Trend Identification: Identify and activate new markets, trends, and growth opportunities to drive educational innovation.
  • Representation: Represent the organization at education fairs, industry events, and strategic partner engagements to enhance brand visibility.
Market Expansion & Recruitment
  • Student Recruitment: Spearhead student recruitment efforts by forging institutional partnerships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing brand presence across key ASEAN markets.
Partnerships & Institutional Collaboration
  • Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain partnerships with universities, corporate clients, education agents, and government agencies to drive mutual growth.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate articulation, dual-degree, or franchise agreements to expand market presence and create value-added opportunities.
  • Program Alignment: Ensure that programme offerings are aligned with local needs and workforce trends to drive relevance and impact.
Compliance & Operations
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with education and advertising regulations in each country to maintain a positive reputation.
  • Operational Structure: Establish and manage local operational structures or offices, where needed, to support regional growth.
  • Performance Analysis: Provide performance and market analysis reports to headquarters to inform strategic decision-making.
Marketing & Brand Development
  • Marketing Campaigns: Localise and roll out marketing campaigns in collaboration with the organisation's HQ marketing team to drive engagement and conversion.
  • Brand Awareness: Strengthen brand awareness through digital platforms, alumni engagement, and media outreach to establish thought leadership.
  • Info Sessions: Lead info sessions, webinars, and preview events to drive visibility and enrolments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related discipline (Master's preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in international education, student recruitment, or business development in the ASEAN region.
  • Network: Strong network in the education ecosystem of Southeast Asia.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of market expansion and cross-border operations.
  • Skills: Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Proactive, resourceful, and able to operate independently across multiple markets.
  • Travel: Willing to travel extensively across the region.
