Our boutique disputes firm specialises in insurance and reinsurance law, excelling as one of the market leaders in Singapore. Our comprehensive services include policy coverage advice, third-party claim management, defence and mitigation, and business-related counsel for insurers. We also provide guidance on disputes between insurers and service providers, contract reviews with partners, and policy wording evaluations for new products. Additionally, we serve as trusted advisors to intermediaries, loss adjusters, and other market players.

We are well known for our specialisation in insurance practice, but we also have a fast-growing dispute practice in commercial litigation, mediation, and arbitration. This involves dealing with commercial disputes, construction disputes, MCST disputes, employment disputes, shareholders' disputes, professional negligence, and medical negligence disputes. We regularly appear before domestic courts and arbitration tribunals.

The Role

We are seeking dynamic, passionate, and collaborative lawyers to bolster our commercial dispute practice. As a Legal Associate, you will play a pivotal role in our team.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years' PQE, Singapore qualified lawyer
  • Prior experience in dispute work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess initiative, drive, and commercial acumen, and can work well both independently and in a team
  • Meticulous and well-organised
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging professional services work atmosphere
  • Tech-savvy with a keen interest in staying abreast of evolving workplace technology
