Highly sought-after dispute resolution specialists with a commercial disputes background are invited to join our dynamic team.


Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned and experienced lawyer who will lead and manage a diverse portfolio of litigation and dispute resolution cases, including commercial disputes, international arbitration and regulatory matters.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and managing the filing of legal documents, as well as directing all facets of trial preparation from discovery through to the development and execution of robust trial strategies.

In addition, the successful candidate will represent clients effectively in negotiations, mediations and arbitrations, striving for outcomes that align with their best interests.

The role also involves working closely with junior lawyers and actively supporting other Directors in the firm, providing strategic legal advice and ensuring the client's needs are addressed with the utmost professionalism and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of litigation and dispute resolution cases.
  • Draft, review and manage the filing of legal documents.
  • Direct all facets of trial preparation from discovery through to the development and execution of robust trial strategies.
  • Represent clients effectively in negotiations, mediations and arbitrations.
  • Work closely with junior lawyers and support other Directors in the firm.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Singapore-qualified advocate and solicitor with 6-12 years' post qualification experience, preferably from a reputable law firm in disputes.
  • Reliable and responsible team member with a passion for advocacy.
  • A proven ability to navigate and resolve complex legal issues with a practical and commercial approach.
  • Resilience under pressure, with a proven track record of managing tight deadlines and delivering results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact confidently with clients and develop business proactively.
  • Team player who can work in a multi-cultural and collegiate law-firm environment.
