Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our team of engineers in delivering high-quality products to our customers. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers to deliver scalable and high-performance systems that power millions of users worldwide.

This role requires strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading agile teams (6+ direct reports) and collaborating with multiple stakeholders. You will be responsible for defining technical OKRs, KPIs, and roadmaps with a strong sense of ownership.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 7 years of Software Engineering experience, including 3+ years in team management.
  • Expertise in Java and building complex, scalable, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
  • Strong experience in DevOps practices: CI/CD, microservices, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure operations and security.
What You'll Be Doing:
  1. Lead yearly and quarterly planning to ensure smooth execution and secure the successful delivery of the engineering roadmap.
  2. Optimize performance by engaging in capacity planning, software performance analysis, and system tuning.
  3. Drive teams forward by setting high standards for delivery, code quality, and continuous improvement.
  4. Design and enhance cutting-edge services with a focus on availability, scalability, and efficiency.
  5. Maintain high development standards through active participation in code and design reviews.
  6. Collaborate with key stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business growth and engineering excellence.
  7. Attract, mentor, and retain top engineering talent, fostering career growth and a strong engineering culture.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a reputable university.

Minimum 7 years of Software Engineering experience, including 3+ years in team management.
