Game Operations Associate Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Game Operations Associate to join our mobile gaming team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operations and performance optimization of our game products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track operational data and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as retention, engagement, and monetization. Identify and respond to abnormal fluctuations, providing actionable insights for game optimization across various regions and platforms.
  • Collect and analyze user feedback, manage support channels, and translate insights into clear, actionable product improvement recommendations. Follow up on feature launches, in-game events, and content updates to evaluate impact.
  • Manage live operations configurations in internal tools and dashboards, including monetization settings, event tracking, alert systems, and promotional campaigns.
  • Assist with content localization and quality assurance (LQA) to ensure cultural and linguistic suitability for target markets.
  • Work across development, marketing, and customer support teams to create a cohesive player experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome; experience in mobile gaming, live ops, or product operations is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Looker, or similar) to drive insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; experience working with cross-functional teams is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in both English and Chinese, as this role requires communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
