About This Role

This position oversees all operational functions to ensure service efficiency, consistent quality, and seamless coordination across multiple sites.

The Head of Operations will lead the development and execution of operational strategies aligned with the company's short- and long-term business objectives and growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all operational functions to ensure service efficiency, consistent quality, and seamless coordination across multiple sites.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the company's short- and long-term business objectives and growth targets.

Industry-Driven Business Development:

  • Identify new market opportunities, expand service offerings, and build strategic partnerships to drive regional growth in Singapore.
  • Leverage strong knowledge of the cleaning/facilities management industry to support competitive positioning.

Commercial & Strategic Management:

  • Lead preparation of commercial proposals, tenders, and pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Monitor market trends, client requirements, and competitor activities to provide actionable insights for business expansion.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners, serving as a trusted point of contact.
  • Ensure service excellence and client satisfaction through proactive engagement and issue resolution.

People Leadership:

  • Foster a high-performance culture by mentoring and developing internal teams.
  • Promote accountability, leadership, and continuous improvement across all operational levels.

Compliance & Standards:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and applicable legal standards (labor, health & safety, environmental).
  • Lead the implementation and compliance of the Integrated Management System (IMS), including ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety standards.

Risk & Issue Resolution:

  • Oversee and resolve operational challenges, escalations, and risks, ensuring timely and effective solutions with minimal client disruption.

Industry Representation:

  • Represent the company at industry events, speaking engagements, and client briefings to strengthen market presence and professional networks.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Operations Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in operations management within the cleaning, facilities management, or related service industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale operations, managing multi-site teams, and driving business growth.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning/facilities management industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in tender management, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations.
  • Solid understanding of ISO management systems (ISO 9001 & ISO 45001 preferred).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a hands-on approach to operational challenges.
  • Ability to travel within Singapore and occasionally regionally.
