Job ResponsibilitiesRole Overview
Reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage, this role is pivotal in organizing, planning, and overseeing the daily operations and administration of the food and beverage department, ensuring its profitability and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities
Guarantee that your team provides exceptional service and product quality across all points of sale. Oversee the effective operation of various services within your department. Provide strong leadership to all managers within the division. Foster a motivating team environment across all sections of Food & Beverage. Ensure consistent profitability and engage in pricing strategies for your departments. Adhere to health and safety regulations within the department. Ensure compliance with labor laws in the Food & Beverage sector. Actively seek and address guest feedback to enhance satisfaction. Manage guest complaints and comments with professionalism and efficiency.Team Leadership
Develop and review work schedules for your teams, considering forecasts and workloads. Ensure new hires complete induction and necessary training within their first three months. Provide comprehensive training to team members on all aspects of banquet operations as per departmental standards. Observe, coach, and motivate your team, addressing disciplinary issues as needed. Respond to personnel management inquiries from your team. Maintain a communication logbook and update the notice board regularly.Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
QualificationsDiploma in Hospitality Management or Food & Beverage preferred. Additional certifications in Food & Beverage are advantageous. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
