Strategic Account Manager

As a Strategic Account Manager at Wesco International, Inc., you will play a critical role in maintaining and developing key relationships with our most strategic clients. Your primary focus will be on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, as well as resolving any issues or concerns that may impact customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Sales team to develop and execute strategic account plans that drive growth and revenue.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our clients' business needs and identify opportunities to deliver value.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions that meet our clients' needs.
- Manage a pipeline of opportunities at key accounts, including renewals, projects, and share improvement initiatives.
- Communicate customer activity, opportunity status, and strategic plan progress to management.
- Participate in solution development efforts that address customer needs and drive business growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of proven sales experience in outside sales or 3+ years of strategic account and/or sales management experience.
- History of success in maintaining and developing key relationships.
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand customer needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Self-starter with ability to work efficiently under pressure.
