We are seeking an experienced user experience design instructor to lead our part-time UX Bootcamp. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in user experience design and teaching, with the ability to inspire and mentor students to achieve their full potential.

Job Description

The Lead User Experience Designer Instructor will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the art and science of user experience design. This includes developing and delivering curriculum content, providing feedback on student work, and guiding students through the development of a stellar capstone project that showcases their abilities to hiring managers.

The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about user experience design and committed to helping students develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in this field.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 3-5 years of experience working in user experience design on a product team.
  • Fluency in some or all of the following topics: the UX process, user research and personas, usability testing, UX analysis, information architecture, interface design, wireframing, prototyping, analytics and optimization, mobile UX, and/or HTML/CSS.
  • Experience using Figma in a professional capacity, including creation of component libraries, design systems, and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Ability to teach, mentor, and coach user experience designers in a professional and/or volunteer capacity.
