The role of Lead Supplier Sourcing and Account Manager is a strategic position within our organization, responsible for the overall relationship between ASML and its key suppliers. This position requires a combination of skills in strategic thinking, leadership, initiative, professional communication, financial analysis, and engineering or technology expertise.
Job Responsibilities:- Strategically develop vision and targets of the supplier landscape by pursuing critical technology roadmaps and product roadmaps in collaboration with category managers while considering regional needs.
- Jointly define and execute category sourcing strategies with Category PFTs (Product Family Teams) and strategic supplier account plans at suppliers.
- Proactively monitor developments and trends within the supply base for Metrology, Light sources, and Positioning Systems, ensuring ASML is prepared to react appropriately for short- to long-term impacts.
- Drive supplier selection activities by leading one or more Sourcing Teams.
- Prepare and present for key decision-making in executive review meetings regarding make/buy decisions and supplier selections.
- Negotiate Long-Term Supply Agreements (LTSA), NPI Agreements, and associated addendums, monitoring contractual compliance of suppliers and ASML.
- Drive continuous cost and lead time reduction.
- Take the lead in managing suppliers' QLTCS performance with SATs (Supplier Account Teams) through regular review processes, such as Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Executive Review Meetings (ERMs).
- Prepare supplier spending forecasts and monitor supplier financial health.
- Ensure all communication to suppliers is coordinated and consistent.
- Drive supply base rationalization within categories.
- Participate in supplier overall capabilities audits and drive closure of findings and improvement plans.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Engineering, or related field is required, or equivalent experience of a minimum of 12 years in supplier management in a high-tech, international manufacturing environment.
- A deep understanding of one or more technology-related supply chains is strongly preferred. A proven track record in developing strong business relationships with key suppliers and experience in developing and executing long-term agreements is required.
- Experience with complex negotiations, problem-solving, strategic planning, and financial analysis are essential.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally is required.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques is beneficial, and a strong familiarity with technology manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, negotiation skills being critical.
- Operate effectively with all levels of management both internally and externally.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams is essential for performing this role.
- Must be able to professionally represent ASML to outside companies/suppliers.
- Ability to build a strong internal and external network.
- Ability to get buy-in and commitment from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Willingsness to constructively dissent and challenge management thinking on key issues.
- Must thrive in an environment where multitasking is the norm.
- Strong vision of supplier landscapes, supply chain networks, and technology roadmaps.
This role requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
