The Operations team partners closely with ResMed’s five business leaders to understand their needs then providing a variety of products and services to help them meet those needs including Customer and Technical Services, Global Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, manufacturing, logistics and distribution. Focused on enabling new product introduction and operating excellence, our team strives to improve time to market for new products and services, improve efficiencies in our cross-functional processes, and improve our supply chain through digitization and automation to increase value add to our customers.

- Lead the Product Technology Innovation - collaborating research & technology engineering team by connecting our supplier innovative technologies and capabilities to ResMed technology roadmap.
- Lead the Supplier Manufacturing Process Development supporting NPI launch roadmap, including DFM/DFA, PPAP, quality, cost, and production capacity with focus on close cross-functional team collaboration.
- Provide responsive & expert technical consulting input to a wide variety of Product Development, Manufacturing and Operations supply situations, resolving delivery issues.
- Establish and maintain supplier relations. You are the technical supplier partners to develop & deliver products and explore broader supplier value innovation opportunities.
- Promote internal stakeholder awareness of procurement processes pertaining to projects and promote compliance to procurement best practice.
- Stakeholder management by regular communication of the technical development activities, delivery status, supplier risk in summary business language at Senior Customer/Stakeholder/Supplier level.
- This role will benefit from travel to global supplier and ResMed sites to build partner relations and resolve critical program/project issues.

Key to being successful in this role is having engineering, product development or manufacturing background with a dynamic, motivated and engaging personality to connect and deliver on Supplier Engineering programs and initiatives.
- Must have technical experience in Field Application Engineering, R&D, or Procurement/Supply Chain business environment with experience of new product launch/delivery, technology development with a level of supplier relationship management and collaboration.
- Experience in operational process innovation and a drive to continue to expand knowledge in fields of business excellence, digital transformation tools, commercial excellence & design thinking.
- Extensive experience in high-volume supplier management, preferably from medical, consumer goods, automotive and/or electronics industry
- Highly effective at building trust and engaging with stakeholders from a global product development, manufacturing or end to end product lifecycle engineering environment
- Thrives in an ambiguous yet rewarding environment
- Possess a growth mindset with the ability to lead others and self through changes
- Proven problem solving skills, viewing challenges as an opportunity to find innovative solutions and add value
