Job Summary

VWR SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Leader to lead our Lab Solutions business in Singapore. As the Head of Sales, Lab Solutions, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction in the Singapore market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and profitability in the Singapore market.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in accordance with the company's global strategic business unit strategy.
  • Lead a High-Performing Team
    • Attract, hire, develop, and retain a high-performing team of sales professionals.
    • Build a strong leadership bench strength in the Singapore market.
  • Drive Sales and Revenue Growth
    • Deliver on sales, EBITDA, and working capital targets by creating a planning, tracking, and execution mechanism.
    • Leverage the company's portfolio of products and services to penetrate key accounts and deliver end-to-end workflow support for customer segments.
  • Culture and Values
    • Embed the company's culture and values in the way we interact internally and with external stakeholders.
  • Marketing and Business Development
    • Execute marketing plans and strategies in the market.
    • Set and deploy company vision, mission, and business systems for Singapore.
  • Leadership and Collaboration
    • Foster an environment that stimulates open communication, creativity, imagination, and team spirit.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Minimum bachelor's degree in a science-related field.
    • MBA will be an added advantage.
  • Experience
    • Preferably 5 years of sales leadership experience in an MNC environment.
  • Skills
    • Strong fluency in science degree is preferred.
    • Strong people and process management with a proven track record of growing sales, achieving targets, and developing leaders.
    • Solution selling, negotiations skills, managing major accounts.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities.
    • Excellent leadership qualities.
