As a key member of our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Commodity Risk Management Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

The purpose of this role is to safeguard existing value and unlock new sources of sustainable value for the organization. This will be achieved through partnering with internal stakeholders and a high-performing supplier network. Procurement capabilities will be mobilized to improve product and service quality, mitigate risks, drive total cost of ownership, and infuse top-line growth for local businesses.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze commodity exposure data across business units and regions
  • Ensure alignment of risk methodologies, assumptions, and reporting standards globally
  • Collaborate with regional procurement, treasury, and finance teams to gather insights and support local execution of risk processes
  • Engage with key suppliers on projects to improve transparency, risk-sharing mechanisms, and data accuracy
  • Support internal controls, hedge documentation, and compliance with procurement risk policies
  • Prepare regular dashboards and reports on risk positions, hedging status, and market trends
  • Assist in continuous improvement of risk tools, templates, and systems
  • Act as a point of contact for regional teams on operational aspects of commodity risk management
  • Create strategic data-driven insights for procurement in the area of commodity risk management
  • Collaborate with regional procurement and supply chain teams to support forecast alignment and exposure tracking
  • Work closely with regional finance and treasury teams on hedge accounting, documentation, and mark-to-market valuations
  • Support a wide range of procurement risk activities including financial risks and non-commodity risks
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • University degree, preferably in a business-related field (bachelor's degree preferred) and/or linked to quant finance or coding
  • Proficiency in English
  • 5 years of professional experience, preferably linked to commodity markets
  • Experience in a multinational company is an advantage
  • Strong Excel and data visualization skills
  • Familiarity with risk management systems (e.g., CTRM, TMS)
