Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role involves handling customer inquiries, requests for quotations, bookings, and coordination. This entails creating bookings in the company's proprietary freight forwarding system and coordinating with carriers, depots, trucking companies, insurance providers, and customs clearance services.

This position requires a high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in freight forwarding and logistics, as well as a general understanding of import and export processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Handle full sets of import and export shipments and shipping documents such as Bills of Lading, Delivery Orders, Permit Declarations, Notices of Arrival, etc.
  2. Provide prompt responses and maintain close communication with vendors, customers, carriers, and overseas agents.
  3. Offer solutions to clients for shipment or space optimization.
Qualifications and Experiences

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experiences:

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in freight forwarding.
  • A general diploma in freight forwarding or logistics is preferred, but candidates without this qualification who have multiple years of proven relevant track records may also be considered.
  • Working knowledge of import and export processes.
