HR Business Partner for APAC

Figma is expanding its operations in the Asia-Pacific region, and we are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our People Operations department, you will play a critical role in building processes and programs that support our company's growth and success in this dynamic market.
This full-time position can be based in one of our hubs in Singapore, Tokyo, or Australia, with regular travel expected to other locations in the region. You will work closely with our leadership and management teams in Japan, Singapore, and Australia, as well as our centralized teams in EMEA and the US, to develop and implement localized policies, processes, and benefits programs.
Key responsibilities include partnering with global teams on recruitment, total rewards, talent development, and operations; collaborating with and coaching managers on people-related matters; advising and coaching employees on work development, engagement, conflicts, and more; bolstering our company culture through interactions and instilling our values; and contributing insights, data, and feedback on core people programs and employee engagement.
We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in a relevant People Ops/HR role, preferably in a rapidly growing company with a US Headquartered background. Strong communication skills, broad capability across HR competencies, and discretion when handling sensitive information are essential. Experience working in HR/Teams as a People Partner or manager, tech or startup experience, and fluency in Japanese are also valued.
The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
