Imaging Support Professional

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Imaging Support Professional to join our team. As an Imaging Support Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our imaging centre.

  • You will be responsible for attending to all patients visiting the Somerset Imaging Centre, providing basic patient care assistance, and participating in various imaging procedures.
  • Your duties will also include assisting radiographers in examination rooms, preparing patients for radiological procedures, and performing daily equipment preventive maintenance.
  • In addition, you will be required to complete administrative tasks, recover request forms from storage or systems, and disseminate them to requestors.
Requirements
  • You must possess a minimum O Level or Diploma in Nursing/Radiography, as well as a WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care) or equivalent.
  • Computer literacy and strong interpersonal and communication skills, with empathy and care towards patients, are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Attend to all patients visiting the Somerset Imaging Centre
  • Provide basic patient care assistance
  • Participate in treadmill exercise tests and contrast administration
  • Perform IV cannulation and venepuncture when necessary
  • Communicate clearly with patients regarding their duties, management plans, and blood taking
  • Work harmoniously and promote unity within the centres
