Singapore SOMERSET IMAGING CENTRE PTE. LTD. Full time $40,000 - $60,000 per year

Job Description:

  • Perform the role of Radiology Assistant.

  • To attend to all the patients visiting the Somerset Imaging Centre.

  • To be physically present during the contrast administration in the Somerset Imaging Centre Pte Ltd.

  • To be physically present in the centre during the treadmill exercise test.

  • To perform basic patient care assistance activities e.g. providing instruction and assisting patients with changing of patient's clothing. In the event of any medical emergency, to perform emergency protocol as established eg Code Blue or any allergic reaction etc.

  • To assist radiographers in examination rooms e.g preparing patient for radiological procedures.

  • To assist the radiographer in data entry into Worklist and Radiology Information System.

  • To perform the daily Equipment Preventive Maintenance (PM) where required.

  • To perform administration duties including data collection as assigned.

  • To provide assistance in retrieving request forms from storage/ system including disseminating to requestor.

  • To perform IV cannulation and venepuncture where required.

  • To communicate with the patients clearly in terms of the duty, management plan and blood taking as required.

  • To work in a harmonious way and to promote the unity of the centres.

Requirements:

  • Minimum O Level or Diploma in Nursing / Radiography.

  • WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care) or its equivalent is preferred.

  • Computer literate.

  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skill.

  • Possess good empathy and care towards patients.
