Job Description:

• \tPerform the role of Radiology Assistant.

• \tTo attend to all the patients visiting the Somerset Imaging Centre.

• \tTo be physically present during the contrast administration in the Somerset Imaging Centre Pte Ltd.

• \tTo be physically present in the centre during the treadmill exercise test.

• \tTo perform basic patient care assistance activities e.g. providing instruction and assisting patients with changing of patient's clothing. In the event of any medical emergency, to perform emergency protocol as established eg Code Blue or any allergic reaction etc.

• \tTo assist radiographers in examination rooms e.g preparing patient for radiological procedures.

• \tTo assist the radiographer in data entry into Worklist and Radiology Information System.

• \tTo perform the daily Equipment Preventive Maintenance (PM) where required.

• \tTo perform administration duties including data collection as assigned.

• \tTo provide assistance in retrieving request forms from storage/ system including disseminating to requestor.

• \tTo perform IV cannulation and venepuncture where required.

• \tTo communicate with the patients clearly in terms of the duty, management plan and blood taking as required.

• \tTo work in a harmonious way and to promote the unity of the centres.
Requirements:

• \tMinimum O Level or Diploma in Nursing / Radiography.

• \tWSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care) or its equivalent is preferred.

• \tComputer literate.

• \tTeam player with good interpersonal and communication skill.

• \tPossess good empathy and care towards patients.
