Senior Executive/Assistant Manager Job Opportunity

The National Cancer Centre Singapore is a leading national and regional tertiary cancer centre. Our team attends to the majority of cancer cases in Singapore's public healthcare sector.

Our centre offers world-class oncology care by having the best talent, doing robust clinical and translational research, and leading education efforts to improve cancer outcomes. We are seeking a dynamic Senior Executive to drive our staff and volunteer engagement programmes.

This role requires you to shape employee and volunteer experiences and build impactful volunteer partnerships that make a difference. You will work within our HR team to develop and implement engagement strategies that enhance workplace satisfaction while managing our growing volunteer community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement volunteer recruitment, training, and retention strategies
  • Coordinate volunteer programmes and maintain volunteer database
  • Build and nurture relationships with volunteers and community partners
  • Design and deliver volunteer orientation and training programmes
  • Monitor volunteer satisfaction and programme effectiveness
  • Organise volunteer appreciation events and recognition initiatives

Staff Engagement:

  • Support implementation of staff engagement initiatives that foster a positive workplace and giving culture (through volunteerism)
  • Coordinate and manage employee wellness and engagement activities
  • Analyse feedback and engagement metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Support internal communications and change management initiatives

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Social Work, Marketing, Hospitality or related discipline
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in volunteer management, customer service or marketing or related fields
  • Strong project management, presentation and event coordination skills
  • Proficient in digital communication tools, volunteer management systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups
