Italian Restaurant Staff Wanted
About the JobWe are seeking dedicated staff to join our team in our established Italian restaurant located in Duxton Hill. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities- Greet guests with a smile and serve them in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Prepare tables for service by setting up linens, silverware and glassware.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu and all products to ensure accurate ordering and preparation of food and beverages.
- Ensure that all stations are properly stocked and replenished throughout the shift.
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs in a timely manner.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Cleanliness of work areas is paramount; maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
- Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
