Job Title: Senior Mental Health Counsellor Youth

This role involves providing professional counselling services, mentoring junior staff, and leading the Counselling & Therapy Service (CTS). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with youths and managing trauma-related cases.

Responsibilities:
  • Initiate and/or participate in outreach efforts related to the division.
  • Perform the role of Programme In-Charge and oversee the delivery of Counselling & Therapy Service.
  • Develop strategies and oversee their implementation for the growth of Counselling & Therapy Service.
  • Provide counselling assessment and intervention for clients.
  • Document all case-related records.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in working with youths and managing trauma-related cases.
  • Possess good knowledge and experiences with providing counselling interventions in both individual and group settings.
  • Master's degree in counselling or equivalent with at least 7 years of experience in social service sector or similar setting.
  • Registered counsellor with a recognized professional body.
  • Prior experience in providing case and clinical supervision to social service practitioners and/or counsellors.
