Compliance Associate, APAC

Job Description:

The Compliance Associate will be based in Singapore and will support the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) of our Global Compliance Department.

As a key member of the team, you will assist with implementing and maintaining effective compliance programs across various regions, including Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on compliance objectives;
  2. Conduct thorough analysis of regulatory requirements and industry trends to inform business decisions;
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks;
  4. Design and deliver training sessions for employees on compliance-related topics;
  5. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards through regular monitoring and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Degree or higher education level; Law, Business, or Technology an advantage;
  • Certification in a professional association such as ACAMS would be beneficial;
  • 3-5 years' experience in the financial services sector;
  • Above-average communication and conflict resolution skills;
  • High degree of independence, process orientation, analytical and conceptual skills;
  • Decision-making ability and results orientation;
  • Team spirit;
  • Working language English, other languages an advantage;
