Detail Drafter

We are seeking an accomplished Detail Drafter to support our project and production teams. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with a strong attention to detail and technical proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create precise 2D shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings for doors and frames.
  • Analyze architectural and structural drawings to coordinate door openings and installation requirements.
  • Evaluate drawing accuracy based on project specs, site measurements, and BCA/SCDF codes.
  • Assist with material take-offs, cutting lists, and fabrication schedules.
  • Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and workshop teams to ensure production and installation run smoothly.
  • Revise drawings based on site feedback and changes.
  • Maintain proper drawing documentation and version control.
  • Attend site visits and project meetings when required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Building Drafting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience, preferably in door systems, interior fit-out, or construction.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit or 3D modeling experience is an advantage.
  • Familiar with fire-rated door systems, ironmongery, and frame construction is preferred.
  • Strong in interpreting architectural drawings and technical specifications.
  • Meticulous, organized, and deadline-driven.
  • A team player with effective communication skills.
