Interior Design Drafter Opportunity

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced interior design drafter to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and assisting in the translation of conceptual designs into construction documents.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of interior design principles and be proficient in various software applications, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, and MS Office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for interior design to develop their skills and work on a variety of projects.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and prepare detailed technical drawings including floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, and joinery details;
  • Assist in translating conceptual designs into accurate construction documents;
  • Support the team in preparing presentation packages, material boards, and 3D visuals;
  • Collaborate with designers and project managers to ensure design intent is maintained throughout documentation;
  • Revise and update drawings in response to feedback from clients, designers, or on-site conditions.

Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field;
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of drafting experience are welcome;
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, and MS Office;
  • Bonus points for familiarity with Enscape or Blender;
  • Meticulous, organized, and eager to learn through real-world project involvement;
  • A collaborative attitude and genuine passion for transforming design ideas into technical reality.
