Job Description:">

As a Payment Strategist, you will be responsible for driving the growth of Stripe's card payments product. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions that meet merchant needs while maintaining compliance and reliability.

You will analyze market signals and translate them into product opportunities that drive monetization. This includes inspecting and optimizing network economics holistically, identifying ways to reduce or eliminate costs, and converting those costs into new revenue streams.

    • Work with cross-functional teams to build and execute on a roadmap to enable merchants to better process card payments
    • Identify opportunities to enrich transaction data and design ways to transform that data into value for merchants and the broader network
    • Develop improvements to Stripe's card payments, such as supporting more flexible authorization and capture scenarios that meet merchant cash flow needs while maintaining compliance and reliability
