Our organization is looking for a professional to fill an early career position in Downstream Business Development and Strategic Planning (DS-BDSP). The ideal candidate will have expertise in the oils & fats business (primarily palm) and its derivatives. This role involves conducting research, performing analysis, and making recommendations for organic and/or inorganic initiatives.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct primary and secondary research on the subject matter.
- Work collaboratively with various functions in the group to gather information and identify issues.
- Perform data analysis and provide insights/data interpretation.
- Build robust financial models (valuation using DCF, multiples) to facilitate decision-making.
- Assist in preparing reports/presentation slides that concisely articulate findings and recommendations.
- Participate actively in discussions, providing thoughts/ideas.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Business/Economics or any other relevant disciplines preferred.
- 1-4 years of working experience in Accountancy/Corporate Finance/M&A/Management Consulting/Business Development/Data Analysis.
- Proactive, independent, and a team player.
- Proficiency in Financial Modelling and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Proficiency in English. Second language proficiency preferred.
