Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and strategically minded Field Application Scientist to support our downstream filtration and chromatography product lines.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, leveraging knowledge of process development, filtration, and manufacturing to drive customer satisfaction and sales success.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in downstream process development and manufacturing, particularly in filtration and chromatography operations, with a focus on Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and Taiwan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on downstream solutions, including KrosFlo TFF Systems, TangenX, Spectrum hollow fibers, OPUS pre-packed columns, and chromatography resins
  • Partner with Sales to deliver pre- and post-sales technical support, including customer consultations, experimental design input, product demos, and on-site training
  • Troubleshoot workflows and optimize customer applications
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to relay customer feedback into product development
  • Create technical content such as application notes, white papers, and training materials
  • Involve or lead projects and assignments as part of the professional development opportunity

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific (biology/biochemistry) or engineering (chemical) discipline, coupled with 3 years' experience working in downstream purification, including filtration and chromatography within a process development environment. Solid understanding of TFF and chromatography, scale-up/technology.
