Shipbuilding Cost Management Professional

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cost / Contracts Manager (Quantity Surveyor) to join our shipbuilding team. The incumbent will be responsible for Contract Management and Quantity Surveyor, including managing and controlling the costs associated with shipbuilding projects from the planning phase through to completion.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage cost estimates and budgets for shipbuilding projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring they remain within the established budget and scope.
  • Work closely with project managers, procurement, and engineering teams to gather accurate data for cost planning and tracking.
  • Perform detailed cost analysis, identifying cost drivers and areas for cost reduction or optimization.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Contract Management is essential.
  • A strong understanding of cost estimation, project budgeting, cost analysis, and the ability to work collaboratively with different departments is required.
  • Ability to be based in Batam (Indonesia) is mandatory.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously is necessary.
