Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of Enterprise Application Security Specialist. This position involves overseeing the governance of applications, ensuring compliance with information security standards and enterprise governance principles.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough analysis of application setup to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business units, development teams, and infrastructure operations, to deliver projects focused on business enablement, risk management, and efficiency initiatives.
  • Foster relationships with external stakeholders, such as vendors, regulatory bodies, and industry exchanges.

Action Items:

  • Manage application governance activities, including assessing information security risks, conducting audits, and addressing non-compliant technologies.
  • Work closely with regional teams to ensure timely completion of required deliverables.
  • Establish and maintain effective risk management controls to support applications and promote risk awareness within the team.
  • Engage multiple stakeholders to gather and understand functional requirements, security risks, and provide cohesive solutions to problems in existing applications.
  • Coordinate with regional streams of global vulnerability and compliance management projects.
  • Assist in establishing project governance in regions for all departments under IT Operations (improvement, new processes, or procedures).

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated expertise in various technologies, including network, security, application architecture, database, and operating systems.
  • In-depth understanding of vulnerability assessment and remediation methodologies.
  • Strong technical background and familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with teams, management, and business stakeholders.
  • Program and project management expertise, capacity to lead hybrid project methodologies.
  • Understanding of local rules and regulations in Asian markets.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
